I recently met tribal dance movement, which in Argentina has very remarkable performers... several of my friends are developing this art, so sexy, so feminine and plenty of meanings archaic gestualities... this poem by Alejandra Pizarnik (one of my greatest admired poets), was shared yesterday by Melina Balbuena, artistic model and actress, in his blog on Facebook... I was deeply moved, and immediately associated it in my mind, in my heart, with the intense sensuality of tribal dances... so, in the solitude and silence of my homestudio, turned off the lights and got carried away by all these poetic images of women's bodies and dancing, so beautifully expressing the sublime and eternal femininity... this is the record of the binnacle of my mental and emotional trip to the dancing sands of the Tahr desert, home of the Banjaras, nomadic gypsies who inhabit this giant desert located between Pakistan and India, with their clothes and make-up of extreme preciousness, exponents of the most beautiful dances and music of Hindustan...

Esta música está inspirada en un estilo musical tradicional de la provincia china de Guang Dong (sureste de China continental)...se la puede considerar música cantonesa...comienza con un pad armónico de cuencos tibetanos, sobre el que dialogan a lo largo de todo el tema un guzheng (cítara china) y un xiao (flauta china), acompañados de un conjunto de percusión y otros instrumentos típicos chinos....tuve en mente una coreografía que imaginé para dos bailarinas dialogando alternativamente con su danza al principio y luego simultáneamente hacia el final...tener imágenes en la mente e ilustrarlas musicalmente, es mi manera de concebir y componer música...
